A free to use online tool for service delivery organisations, funders and commissioners to guide improvement efforts.
The Confidence Framework has been designed to help service delivery organisations identify areas of strength and areas for improvement within both the service they deliver and the organisation itself. It is a free online tool. The framework covers five dimensions: Design; Delivery; Monitoring; Determining Benefit; and Sustaining – each containing four indicators that together set out the necessary ingredients for a service that delivers impact at scale.

The framework has been designed to be adapted for a variety of different contexts: get in touch if you are interested in adapting the tool in your sector in either a service/sector improvement or funder/commissioning capacity.
“Guiding iterative service development to promote a culture of learning and improvement.”
The Confidence Framework was developed by the Dartington Social Research Unit alongside consortium partners: Catch22, the Young Foundation and Substance.
The framework was developed as part of the Big Lottery Funded Realising Ambition programme: a £25m investment to replicate effective practice for children and young people to prevent subsequent involvement in the criminal justice system.
