Cristina joined in October 2021, following the completion of a MSc Mental Health at the University of Birmingham, where she discovered a new interest for social policy and co-productive research.

Prior to this, Cristina worked as a pharmacy assistant for four years in an NHS hospital setting, giving her a good understanding of the structure and demand for services. This, coupled with her own lived experience of mental health services has given her a passion for the importance of service user involvement in the development, and adaption of services to ensure both service effectiveness and efficiency for all.
