Are you an organisation supporting 15-18 year old’s in Scotland? Do you feel passionate about health and how health data is used?
This project seeks to involve young people aged 15-18 years to participate in an interactive virtual game. It provides young people with the opportunity to take on the role of Health Minister. They will set up a new colony for Scotland’s citizens on Mars. Young people will explore scenarios around the use of citizen’s health data, and map what they would do as Health Minister.
All organisations supporting young people to participate will be entered into a prize draw to win £1,000 - with a potential further £500 to be won and distributed by the winning organisation amongst young people as a thank you for taking part.
The anonymous data gathered through the game will be shared in a report for ScotGov and Nesta with the potential to inform policy and practice.
The game has been co-produced with young people at every stage: from initial focus groups, to early prototype development and testing. We’d like to thank all the young people and organisations who have supported the work so far.
The game play period is open from now until mid-February 2021.
